our founder
the founder of pink tulips foundation, gandhali mangalvedhekar, is a 18-year-old girl who has been passionate about improving the lives of individuals with disabilities for over six years. at the age of nine, she began volunteering to help children with disabilities swim at her local ymca and at camp snowflake in new jersey where she realized how much she truly cares about this cause. after moving to singapore at the age of 13, gandhali became a member of balavihar global concern which raised funding for a home for disabled young adults in india. later on, she became head of the global concern and fundraised to help the center purchase medical equipment in their battle against covid-19. now a student at johns hopkins university, gandhali hopes to continue her work and provide opportunities to individuals with disabilities without barriers.
